Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You can cancel anytime during the trial and you will not be charged. The Basic plan is also free forever, no trial needed.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep premium features through what you've already paid for.
The Student plan at $9.99/month is already discounted for verified students. Eligibility is verified automatically via institutional email, SheerID, or equivalent. Anyone (including hobbyists and self-taught learners) can also use the Basic plan for free.
Choose annual billing at checkout and save 20% — that's $7.99/month effective on Student and $15.92/month effective on Teacher (billed once for 12 months). Annual subscriptions renew automatically, and you keep full access through the end of your paid year if you cancel.
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Institutional customers can pay by invoice or purchase order on net-30 terms. All payments are processed by Stripe — your card details never touch Plagly servers.
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid plan. If you're not satisfied for any reason in the first 30 days, email support@plagly.ai and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. After 30 days, refunds are issued at our discretion for service outages or billing errors.
Your projects and account remain accessible on the Basic plan. Premium features (AI scans, Codexa AI, Classroom) become read-only after downgrade — you can still view past scan reports and grades. Closed accounts are retained for 30 days for recovery, then deleted. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
